TAR: Wizard books for beginning readers

I would love to get some recommendations for books with a Harry Potter =
theme but are written for beginning readers (Hello Reader! Level 2 and 3 =
for example). I've got some children that really want to read boks about =
wizards, magic, dragons, and other fantasy topics but just aren't ready =
for the Potter series. Any ideas? TIA!
