It was extremely blatant in the case cited in the original posting. The math sight is owned by Ernst & Young, one of the five largest accounting firms in the world. On the lower half of the porn page is the question, "Want to buy this URL?" Obviously, the person putting up the porn site is not above extortion either. The pornographer obviously thinks that the accountants will be willing to pay much more than it would have cost them to register the alternative domains when they put up the kid's math site as a public service.
