Tech: Scanner

Our MACs are outdated and the school system will now only support PCs.  I
have a HP ScanJet scanner (6100C, software version 2.0) that is MAC
compatible.  Can I buy something to make it work with a PC?  If so what do I
need to make this transition?  If this isn't possible, does anyone have an
idea what the scanner is now worth to someone who uses Apple computers and
what would be a good way to sell it?  I paid about $900.00 for the scanner
in 1997 and it does a great job, I just no longer have a MAC that works with
it.
