My wife asked this very question yesterday. Her concern was the magazines
that come into our home, however.

From what little reading I have done on the matter, though, it seems that
there is probably little danger for most of us from anthrax. One can't help
but wonder, though, how much other sickness is spread by someone
accidentally sneezing on a letter, then dropping it in the mailbox.
