Dear Group, If you had a $1,000 to spend, what would picture books would you buy? I writing a grant to get the money to start a picture book collection in my high school library. I need advice from people who buy picture books all the time. The books would be used by three groups: high school students creating their own picture books in English classes, high school students in our child development class, and 3 & 4 year olds in our school's daycare center. I would appreciate all suggestions. The last time I bought picture books was when my own teenagers were small. Please include multi-cultural books. Thanks, Joanne -- Joanne Shawhan Library Media Specialist Cobleskill-Richmondville High School PO Box 269 Warnerville NY 12187 (518)234-3565 x1151 (518) 234-9006 (fax) jshawhan@nycap.rr.com shawhanj@crcs.k12.ny.us =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
