Our English Skills teacher is looking for a list of high interest/low reading level
fiction titles for grades 9-10 from which she plans to select a few titles and
purchase class sets. She found her students enjoyed the House on Mango Street and
would like other titles that will hold their interest. Most of our students are of
Latino heritage. I've already checked the archives and found many past requests
for Hi/Lo lists but only a couple of hits. I would appreciate any titles you can
recommend and will post a hit if I receive enough replies. Thanks!
