TECH: Problems with Follett 3400 scanner

We are using a new Follett 3400 scanner with a Pentium III PC with PS2
keyboard.  We are experiencing problems with our system freezing and
producing extraneous beeping sounds.  Follett has replaced the cable and a
new keyboard has been installed, but the problems continue.  Follett Tech
Support has suggested that there are problems with new PS2 keyboards and has
requested that we replace it with an AT keyboard.
Has anybody else experienced a similar problem?  Please reply directly to
me.
