Hi, My 5th grade teachers are starting a unit on the constitution using The Landry News as their literature piece. They have asked that I do some lessons on the fundamentals of newspapers (terms, headlines, editorials, reading for information, and not forgetting the freedom of speech slant). Since I also read aloud to my classes I am looking for some suggestions for read alouds to go with this unit. Thanks Chris Allen LMS Bedford Hills Ele.
