Target : If a child ...

Hi folks
I have just sent the words of this poem off to a colleague

If a child lives with encouragement, he learns confidence
If a child lives with criticism, he learns to condemn

If a child lives with tolerance, he learns to be patient
If a child lives with ridicule, he learns to be shy ....

but I cannot find the author cited anywhere, despite looking at over a dozen
web pages that contain it.  I know it has been raised on LM_NET before so if
you can help me out, I would be most appreciative.
