Gen: Flour Babies

I would like to know if anyone has a suggestion for another book like Flour
Babies by Anne Fine in which young people have to care for babies - either
real babies or pretend. Some teachers like having the kids carry flour
babies
for a week but they are not thrilled with the book and would like
suggestions for other titles.This would be for 8th graders. Thank you.
