GEN: virus protection shareware

Friends
    A school aide just asked if I knew of any websites that offered free =
virus protection (shareware?).  I couldn't come up with any off the top =
of my head, but remember there were some sites posted last school year.  =
I did a quick search of the archives but couldn't locate them. =20
    If you have the sites bookmarked, could you please share them with =
me?  I'd like to have something to pass onto the aide tomorrow when I =
see her.
