This is an odd request, but I need some help. Someone in my school has
asked me (as librarian and internet wizard <ha!>) to find an alternate
source for a water cooler, that would require users to pay for the water
they use.

Right now we have somewhat of an honor system... staff who wish to access
to water cooler (from AquaCool, PTA pays monthly cooler rental, staff
pays for bottles of water) pay several times a year, as water runs out..
( usually ends up being about $25/year). If you are not in the "water
club", you are not supposed to drink from the cooler. Problem is, people
do. (subs, part timers,& others who don't pay), Also, it seems some may
drink 2-3 cups of water a day, whereas others fill up a sports bottle 1-2
times a day.

I've done some checking on vending machines, but they seem to take up
too much space. Does anyone have a water cooler that is coin-operated?
Apparently it looks similar to a cooler, but only dispenses a preset
amount of water, and may even fit on a countertop.

Any suggestions? Vendor recommendations? Companies to avoid?

 Thanks!
