Target- ideas for open house

I have volunteered to serve on a committee to come up with some alternatives
to our current open house format. For the past 5 years we do the following:
Parents spend 30 minutes with homeroom teacher, the teacher gives overview
of core curriculum areas. Parents  then   follow a schedule visiting all the
support staff. The support staff makes a 10 minute presentation with each
group.  As the librarian, I present to 3 groups each for grades 3-5.

Please let me know what you do for "Back to School" night or "Open House".
