I am trying to put together a list of all the state award winners for = children's books. For example, Connecticut has "The Nutmeg Award," = Virginia has "Virginia Young Readers," Hawaii has "The Nene Award." I = called ALA and was told they don't have anything like that compiled and = contrary to popular belief, it's not "ALA Notable Books." I looked = under each state library, hoping to find something-- but seem to be = caught in a "do loop." Does anyone know where I could find such a list. = Also, if no one knows of a list, I'd be happy to compile a list to = share with everyone. Although I'm sure there will be overlap of some = titles, I think it would be a fun list to have. Thanks for your time.
