Incentives, recognition and promotion

In my previous library which was non-automated I used to give out new =
books for each class who at the end of each month had all their library =
books returned by the monthly due date.  My present library is automated =
so monthly due dates for whole classes are a thing of the past.  I have =
a flexible schedule so each child may have a different due date.  I am =
looking for ideas/awards/incentives for this year that people have =
tried.  These ideas don't necessarily have to tie in with due dates.  I =
would just like to hear some new and creative ideas that have really =
worked to promote the library.  I am new to this listserv, so I =
apologize in advance if this topic has already been discussed. =20
