Hi Everyone, I asked Peter if I could post this request. I have recently left my school media position after 4 years to go back to grad school, but I am also developing an array of school visits around poetry writing and performance, because ultimately that's what I want to do. I was a performance poet with Poetry Alive for a year prior to becoming a media specialist, so poetry is in my blood. I have put together the beginnings of a website with information about me and the types of programs I want to offer schools. Since I think of the media specialist as the best point of entry for a school, and I know firsthand the immense value of the LM_NET community, I would like to ask for feedback from those of you who are experienced with arranging school visits -- have I provided enough info, am I targeting correctly, is it clear what I am trying to offer, etc... My site is here (it's pretty basic since I am just starting out): http://sbpaul.home.mindspring.com Thanks very much!
