TARGET: GEN: Use for crates

Friends,
I bought a wooden crate for my library at the local fabric/craft store.
(It's one of those with the wood strips on all sides that fruit comes in.) I
am envisioning using it to display books; I could put it upright,
horizontally, or vertically. Do any of you creative, crafty people have any
specific suggestions as to different things I could do like for the holidays
or beginning of the year or even with a certain theme? I will post a hit.
