Help! I have a few native-Spanish-speaking 4th-5th graders, and a dearth of
adolescent fiction in Spanish to encourage casual reading! These are kids
who speak little or no English, and their parents are very concerned in
making sure they can fit in and perform academically. Can someone suggest
how/where I can locate Spanish translations of, say, Judy Blume or similar
books so they have something to connect with while trying to learn English?
Do the book jobbers offer Spanish editions of popular books? We also offer
Spanish instruction K-5 so it would be helpful to have a variety of juvenile
fiction.
