Hi all,
As a teacher librarian who is also an eBook author I was interested to see a
press release from the Open eBook Forum available on my publisher's web site
http://www.gspp.com.au/oebf_press_release.htm which referred to library
lending of eBooks. Further investigation led me to
http://librarydemo.adobe.com/library/ a site which provides a working
demonstration of library eBook lending with 100 titles available for loan.
It seems like an exciting idea and one potentially very suited to the school
situation - both library and text books - no more chasing overdues, they
just expire at their due date ... no shelving either. Is this happening
anywhere yet? I'd like to hear about it.

Anyone interested in my eBook, an adult crime novel titled 'A Slippery
Substance', can find it in nearly all eBook stores, or see
http://www.gspp.com.au/a_slippery_substance.htm for further details and free
samples.
