We have WATCHGUARD FIREBOX at our central level. Since this was added about a year
and a half ago, I have had problems getting onto some sites. The problem first
happened with Scholastic Reading Counts' website. Whenever I try to log-in, it
keeps going back to the log-in screen and will not progress any further.
Now, since Bound to Stay Bound has upgraded their website over the summer, the same
thing occurs while trying to log-in at their website. I try to log-in and it just
goes back to the log-in screen. I can access both sites from home via AOL with no
problem.
Our tek guru says that it is the vendors problem and that they are going to have to
give us a port or a back way in. I think it is our problem, but what do I know.
:) The vendors aren't really much help (BTSB's tek guy says he doesn't have a clue
what to do).
Have any of you experienced this problem with your firewall and if so, how was it
corrected. I heavily use the BTSB site and the SRC site...both on-line ordering
methods are the best way to order and allow me to save my orders on-line and work
from anywhere.
Any help or suggestions will greatly be appreciated. It is becoming very
frustrating trying to order materials.
