Hello fellow LM_NETers!
10 days from now I will be having a scheduled principal observation =
during a third grade class' library time. What I have been doing with =
the third graders is mainly providing reinforcement/enrichment for their =
social studies curriculum, which deals with ancient civilizations. For =
instance, when they studied Ancient Egypt, I read Tut's Mummy - Lost and =
Found, The Golden Flower, Who Built the Pyramid?, and had them go to a =
website that translated their names into heiroglyphics to make a =
cartouche. Third graders are just now starting Ancient Rome, so for my =
observed lesson I will do something pertaining to Ancient Rome. I am =
seeking any and all suggestions - books, activities, websites, whatever! =
You are brilliant! Can you please help me shine? Many TIA!
