TARGET: HELP -- Need Cheap LED Projection Surfaces

Hi from Utah.  I would like to TARGET-> Inexpensive
ways to create surfaces for LED projection.

My principal and I are brainstorming how to get
adequate surfaces in each classroom, short of buying
screens for this purpose.  Have any of you painted
flat surfaces, and if so, what kind of paint worked?
What kind of surfaces did you use?

Specifically, we're thinking about painting flat white
on the back side of white boards we made out of shower
wall board.  These attach with hooks to the top of the
older cork/green boards and they work well.

(I know, I sound as though I'm writing to 'Hints from
Hellouise' --but as they say here "Hey, this is Utah!)
