media with team teaching

We are going to move to the middle school team teaching concept next =
year.  Of course we don't have enough staff so I will probably end up =
teaching some classes.  I have suggested that the classes be every other =
day so that I can still work with other classes during those periods.  I =
want to get the media program more involved in the classes and know that =
the team approach is the perfect way to do this but I could use some =
suggestion.   What are some things that you incorporate into classes?  =
How do you plan with teachers? And how are you invaluable to the team =
process?

Please help! I don't want to be completely shut off from those class =
periods but I'm going to need some justifications.  The next meeting on =
this is Monday so time is a factor.
