LM_NET Archive



I have some barcodes on the back and most on the inside front cover (because
that's how central cataloging wants it)  At first I really liked the
barcodes on the back, but as time and wear have impacted them, the ones on
the backs are harder and harder to scan.  Last year during inventory were
were having to hand enter (13 digit!!) about 80% of the barcodes on the back
covers.

Something to think about -- I now prefer the barcodes on the inside first
page!!!  And so do my student assistants who do most of the data collection
during inventory!
