I recently had to ask a student to pay for a book which was in too bad a
condition to return to the library.  The problem was caused by an
untimely meeting of a cracked chocolate pudding container and  the book
inside the student's book bag.  The title?  Superfudge. Even he had to
laugh as he forked over the money.
