At our Australian school in Hong Kong we use resources from all over the
world, we are able to use a central cataloguing system for the
Australian Resources, (SCIS) but we are finding we have a lot of
original cataloguing to do for items from the UK and USA. We would like
to eliminate this original cataloguing by copying records from decent
catalogues (termed copy cat I believe) We don't have that many to
warrant a subscription, so a free online catalogue would suit, however
we do use the DDC and would like to have this info also to eliminate
errors further.

We have checked out the LOC catalogue but after a bit of a check run we
found it didn't have many of the resources we need to find. We have alot
of 'learning enrichment'(special needs) resources from the USA, and
music items - videos CD's, etc.

Can people suggest what they use so we can investigate the applications
for us?

Thanks in advance
