My school still uses the card catalog system, but I have no way of making card catalog cards. This isn't a problem when I order from places like PermaBound, but it is when I get through donations or Scholastic Book Fairs. Also, when I started this job over a year ago, there were 15 boxes full of uncataloged books that had been sitting around for a couple of years. There are just too many books for me to think about handwriting the cards or typing them up. What I need from you (desperately) is an idea of a system that can make the cards for me - I just have to type up the info once and all the cards print out. I need one that works with a Mac and independant of a catalog system. The only ones I have found so far only work if you also have the catalog system like Winnabego. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. We have some really good books that I would like to get to the kids. There are also many books on the shelves that can't be found in the C. C. because they aren't there. TIA Kaline Goodrich, Librarian Hermon Elem. & Middle School Hermon, ME 04401 kaline369@yahoo.com __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
