Dear all: A faculty member who has a large personal library (4,000+ volumes) would like to get a small cataloging/circulation programto run on a PC (a fairly robust system, PIII, 900mhz, 128 mg mem). He wants it to be MARC compliant, and have the ability to add comments to the summary field of the MARC records. It would have to have the ability to add MARC records for other sources besides hand entry. It would NOT need to handle a large patron base, since his main purpose would be to catalog the items and circulate to a limited number of fellow military enthusiasts. The Follett programs I use are obviously overkill for him (and out of his price range!). Any suggestions? Perhaps someone out there who has worked with a small library such as a church library, or a small professional library would have a tip? Any suggestions welcomed!
