I am interested in ordering career books (for high school) that cover a
general area and then provides information on specific careers that fall
under that general heading. For example, a book on careers in
education. The book would then detail lots of different careers that
deal with the many different jobs pertaining to education.

Right now my collection has career books on very specific careers. We
have books that focus on each of the following: athletic trainer,
computer programmer, dental assistant, flight attendant, pediatrician,
travel agent, etc. We have about 25 books like this. I have found that
when students are looking for information on a specific career, we don't
have a book on that particular career. This is why I'm looking for
books that cover a general area and then provide info. on specific
careers.

Facts on File publishes the series Career Opportunities. This series
sounds like what I am looking for; however, I haven't been successful in
finding reviews of these books. If you have these books in your
collection, could you please let me what you think of them???

I would also appreciate any feedback on other career book series. Here
is a list of series I have found. Feedback on any of them would be
greatly appreciated!
