Thank you to everyone who responded to my request for multicultural summer reading suggestions for our seniors. Thanks to you all, I have 24 responses to pass on to the English teacher! Some of you expressed surprise that "Ordinary People" would be challenged, and wanted to know why. The major objections were due to language (our area is quite conservative). While the book was removed from the required reading list, it is still on our library shelves. Thanks again for your help! Tish Carpinelli, Media Specialist Lower Cape May Regional H.S.
