GEN: procedures, teachers borrowing videos

I am in a HS of about 200 faculty.  We do not want to put the videos in the
catalog system since it is shared with our public library.  We are having
problems with the current way the videos go out.

It is self-service; teachers go to the videos and pick what they want, sign
the card in the video and place on the desk.  They then place a card with
the current date in the video.

We want to automate this on a separate system.  Is there a program that we
can buy and put on a stand alone computer that allows the video collection
to be self-service?

Any ideas would help.
