It wouldn't make a difference to me that the teacher took the book home = and her dog nibbled on it. We wouldn't charge the teacher but I would = certainly make hay when having my discussions with classes on caring for = library books. We list the enemies of books in our homes (water, food, = pets younger siblings) I tell on myself- yes my dog ate the spine of a = signed limited edition of Mary Poppins (not a library book) Even teachers = make mistakes when caring for books.
