still need 7 & 8 grade rdg lists/ no response

Sadly no one has responded to my request for
challenging books/ classics for 7 and 8th graders.
Several have requested that I post a hit...I can use
the AlA lists, obviously, but was looking for input
from practicing middle school librarians or English
teachers to be sure that my old list included books of
current appeal and quality. Still would love ideas.
