Hello again! I was trying to go to sleep last night, and driving myself nuts trying to think of the title of a book I read as a child. It was a 1970's edition paperback (probably Scholastic) about a girl who came to school every day with a blue velvet dress on, with dress shoes, and long fancy curly hair. The other girl in the story was not allowed to wear dressy clothes to school. Sorry, but that's all I can remember. Ring any bells for anyone? TIA! Louise C.
