Re: Inappropriate magazines

Years ago - almost 20 - we had a period of time when studyhall students were
using all the order cards in magazines to order "things" for teachers:
Bradford Mint Plates, Nordic Track exercisers, etc.  We did end up catching
the "perps" and I forget what their punishment was.  But from then on -
continuing to today - before any periodicals are circulated, we page through
them and remove all order cards (the heavy paper ones - whether lose or
stapled in).  We also remove any make-up samples that we find before
students have the chance to use them - usually inappropriately.
