If you are from Canada, especially, you may be able to help. I am reading the book Star in the Storm with a reading group. The book takes place in Newfoundland and there are several words used that I cannot find the definition for. quidnunc is the word I would like to find. It is a place, I know that, but that is all I can determine. Some dictionaries say it is a nosy person, another said it is a tree in Tahiti. It is a shame the info has been so hard to find as I am running this group like a Literature Circle and vocabulary is one of the areas we look at.
