Dear colleagues:
I've had a request from a teacher who will be teaching a
cultural studies class for high school students (sophomores
up). She is looking for a novel that deals with issues in
the Middle East; something semi-contemporary (meaning 1950
and beyond), from a non-Caucasian perspective. Any ideas
