I recently helped my principal FINALLY locate a copy of her mother's favorite children's book, Clementina the Flying Pig. We found a copy on eBay and she gave it to her for Christmas (which generated many tears). Anyway, her mom was so impressed with our ability to find the exact title and to locate a copy of the book that she has asked if we can help find her "other" favorite book. She read this book when she was in 7th or 8th grade. The book would be from the 30s or 40s and is about a girl who falls in the bushes and is blind. The blindness may be a result of her fall in the bushes. She thought it might be called Bramble Bush but I've searched all of the usual sites and have turned up nothing. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Could the title be something other than Bramble Bush? Thanks for any help you can give! -- Brenda Young, LMS Rosehill Elementary Omaha, NE brenda525@att.net (home) youngbl@ops.org (work) =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
