A local Special Education grant is available and I am interested in = applying for a digital voice recorder. As background, a few months ago = a special ed. teacher came to me and was looking for something small and = portable with which a student who can't write very well could take = outside and record observations. Ideally, the recorded observations = could be downloaded into a computer and the computer could "type" them = out. It sounds like a digital voice recorder might fit the bill. I = know it can record the voice like a cassette, but can it be downloaded = and changed to word processing text? Is special software needed? Does = it matter that we are a Macintosh school? Are there websites that do = reviews? Thanks for any information or advice you can give me and I'll = be happy to post a "hit" if others have the same question.
