After hours and hours spent to no avail in assisting a fellow staff member with assorted computer problems, I am wondering if some people might be "incompatible" with computers because they give off some kind of charge or something. In this case (and there have been others), the computer, printer etc work fine when I work on them, but when this poor plagued person tries the same thing --with me watching--it won't work properly. Is there a black cloud over some people's heads for this sort of thing? If so, is there any documentation for it? Also do you have any recommendations? ( I do plan to get a static mat to see if that helps in any way). Thank you all.
