The third grade teachers have asked me to present a unit on the differences between these two genres. I have some general ideas and some very good examples but wondered if anyone who has done this might have something that would make it special. This is an inner city school with children who do not have a good background in fairy tales or nursery rhymes. Any ideas would be appreciated.
