<color><param>0100,0100,0100</param>Dear Netters, I am very often deluged with requests to help find books for many many students during regularly scheduled library classes in my grade 3-5 elementary school. There's usually just me and 28 kids in a class and about 15 to 20 minutes for book selection. I have been trying to find a way to organize this time so that everybody gets the help they need, and so that my arm doesn't get taken off with all the pulling! Have any of you tried the Deli Counter approach -- (take a number, wait your turn)? I have been thinking about trying just such a system, and then it occurred to me that maybe somebody on this list may have already tried it! Any other ideas will be welcome, too! Many thanks, <nofill> Julia Kessler jkessler@westrd.acsd.dcboces.org Librarian West Road Intermediate School Pleasant Valley, NY 12569 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
