Please note that I am merely relaying what I heard on this broadcast
yesterday. The panel was not suggesting a boycott of Scholastic.
They were upset that this book was in a catalog geared to Christian
schools. The main point of contention with the book _Conversations
with God for Teens_ was the fact that the author of this book wrote
the answers to the questions (thus making himself God). A few
excerpts were read from the book where the answers did not mesh with
what is found in the Bible.

I will have to look further into this matter myself before I make a
decision on this matter. As I said, I have not made my decision yet.
However, my knee-jerk reaction is that if I bought a book with a title
beginning _Conversations with God_, I would expect the text to mesh
with the Bible.
