When I first started using Scholastic at my school, I received quite a few
religious books because everyone assumes that because of its name, my school
is a Christian school. I asked Scholastic to stop sending them at the time.
Last year after September 11, parents asked that religious books be offered
on the book fair so I let Scholastic know that we are happy to sell them to
those who are interested. In this way we meet the needs of everyone.
