Does anyone have any fun, maybe historical, facts about libraries handy? =
I did a brochure for our teacher's pre-planning baskets listing out all =
our services etc. To fill up a hole on the back, I put the ALA's =
Quotable Facts. My principal like the first one, "good students more =
likely in schools with good media programs", but she wants some lighter =
facts instead of all the heavy statistical ones that complain about not =
enough money etc.
I started researching some, but there doesn't appear to be any lists =
already created (except for ALA's) & I don't have time to read a ton of =
articles to glean out a few facts. Pre-planning starts next Monday!
