This is precisely what my two collaboration books do! After three chapters
that offer a history, rationale, and how-to for collaboration, each book
presents nearly twenty fully detailed units written by practicing library
media specialists across the country using an effective common template.

The elementary book (K-6) is available now.

Connie, in the secondary volume (due out in early October) you'll find
collaborative units for not only Language Arts, but for Science, Social
Studies, the Arts and Technology. Here's a sneak peek at the table of
contents:
    * Artistic Connections by Ann Marie Pipkin, Library Media Specialist
    * Asteroid Impact! by Lynn Rutan and Sharon Iverson, Librarians
    * A Biome Vacation: Travel Brochures by Rebecca Blick, Library Media
Specialist
    * Capstone Project by Mary Alice Anderson, Lead Media Specialist
    * Civil War Silhouettes by Carol W. Heinsdorf, Librarian
