Netters, Let's talk about this. What's the best thing to do here? How long do you keep your records? Is a record of checkout automatically cleared when you check a book back in? What if you spotted a suspicious pattern of checkouts by a particular patron? Would you report it? Or is there nothing in your library that would shed any light on a situation similar to 9/11? .I am assuming that this won't be a problem for elementary libraries, but what about HS? How far do we go? Any thoughts?
