LM_NET Archive



Howdy,

Like Vaneesa, I'm going to be working on small community library, only mine
isn't in a church. It's for the local gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgendered
community and will have a lot of books on that ostensibly could go into
305.8 (minorities), but I'd like ideas for other call numbers. Of course,
health care would go into the 610's, etc., but there will be a lot of books
about the experience being gay. If they all have to go in 305.8, I'll do it.
I just want alternatives if possible....

I'd also like to hear from folks who have used the free software. I searched
the archives and found references to two of them and want to know how well
they work. PhpMyLibrary appears to have a webpac, which may be of interest
to the community center folks.
