I have received many notes from you regarding positions, and I am grateful. Many, many of you have expressed astonishment that I have not been able to find a position with all of the shortages and positions available. I think we need a national education job clearing house that ALL public school districts use to post openings and where ALL applicants can post their resume and they will be matched! I spend hours, and hours, and hours going from association sites, to Department of Ed sites, to school district sites, to education jobber sites, to university sites, and back again. And all of these desperate shortages and massive openings are just not showing up. I don't "want" to move again. I have moved my family 9 times in the last 11 years. But I will to keep working. But, the searching is so very hard when you are talking about thousands and thousands and thousands of potential places to look. And then, each district wants you to fill out THEIR application, send your transcripts, etc., etc., etc. There needs to be a better way for all of us in education to find these jobs. No wonder so many teachers give up and go flip burgers! *grin* Anyway, thanks to everyone for their concern and tips. I am grateful. As always, you are information specialist supreme! Best wishes!!
