Fifteen year old Garnder's life is a mess along with his room.  His
sister is dating an older man and seems to have lost all of her
common sense. His mother is working hard trying to pay the bills
because his father is out of work.  Gardner's father begins to
confide in him about his feelings of insecurity and how he feels that
his own life is a failure - how he wants to run away from everything.
In the middle of all this Gardner begins to chop wood.  This 185
page book shows a family trying to deal with a depressed father.
